That, and the idea is just too cute to pass up. Who wouldn't want to meet a magic marmot? Although, personally, I think the marmot is up to no good. You can practically see the wheels turning in its head.
How does a piece get more views here on deviantart? I tried submitting it to a bunch of groups.
You could try to join an exclusive group that only allows membership to skilled artists (you certainly have the talent for it). Why don't you try Art-of-Originality [link] or EliteArtists [link] ? A lot of people watch these groups specifically for great talent, so that's one way to be seen.
Another way that people get their name known on deviantart is through the Daily Deviation status, and I think you need to be nominated to/found by a DA moderator.
Otherwise, I think it's all time, place, luck, who-you-know and that sort of crap-shoot. I wish you the best of luck, though! You definitely deserve more recognition.
